Entrepreneur of the Month Michael Miora to
Speak at Critical Incident Recovery Conference in London
Entrepreneur Magazine’s August “Hot
Seat” to speak in London on Incident Management and Recovery
Los Angeles, CA, September 15, 2003 – ContingenZ
Corporation CEO Michael Miora, featured in Entrepreneur Magazine last
month will speak this week on an innovative disaster recovery strategy
at the Hatton in London. The strategy is the Reserve System methodology
that was pioneered by Miora in the early 1990s and then further
developed to meet the threats that have evolved over the past few years
and the past few months.
The talk will show how to apply the results of a
Business Impact Analysis to building reserve systems, which are small
computers that take the place of larger systems for quick response and
recovery processing.
According to Miora, “Combining the Business Impact
Analysis with the reserve system strategy protects the enterprise
against a variety of attacks, including hackers who wish to compromise
security, attackers who want to destroy operational capabilities and
even natural disasters.”
Miora continues, “ContingenZ’s incident management
software, IMCD™, embodies this methodology. It is the only software
available today that completely automates incident management and
disaster recovery planning for small and mid-sized businesses and for
business units and acquisitions of larger companies.”
