A Newly Released White Paper Describes Reduced Cost Disaster Recovery
Reserve Systems Provide Low Cost and Low Management Solutions
Los Angeles, CA, October 10, 2002 – A new
white paper presenting a roadmap to disaster recovery strategies is now
available on the ContingenZ Corporation web site free of charge. This white
paper goes beyond the recap of past strategies to bring a new and innovative
methodology to the table for use by all disaster recovery and business
contingency planners.
The new methodology is called “Reserve
Systems” and is based on the concept of using distributed small computers in
small clusters or individual configurations to recover key functions quickly and
at low cost. “While standby systems and hot sites are good alternatives for
many functions, they require large expenditures and close management. These
reserve systems are low cost and are much easier to deploy and manage,” says
Michael Miora, President of ContingenZ Corporation.
This is one of several white papers
available on the company web site at www.contingenz.com/whitepapers.htm.
Each white paper addresses the disaster recovery process with a focus on high
ROI and effective planning to address conventional and new threats that
organizations must now face.
Incident Management is the term ContingenZ (www.contingenz.com)
has coined for its unique blend of planning services covering emergency
response, disaster recovery, business contingency planning, incident response
and other assurance plans.
